I am sharing a Free Printable Complete the Irish Proverb Game for Saint Patrick’s Day today. This is a fun game; you can play it in your classrooms and with your family and friends. If some of your friends claim that they know Irish proverbs, this game is a good way to test their knowledge. I have made this printable game in two different designs and I am also sharing an answer key to this game at the end of this page.

How to Play

Print and distribute the game cards among the players. Ask the players to fill in the blanks to finish the Irish proverb and make it complete. The player with the most correct answers wins. You can check their answers by looking at the answer key given at the end of this page.

This is the first printable game sheet for this fun Saint Patrick’s Day game. There are 18 Irish proverbs in which one or a few words are missing. You need to click or tap on this thumbnail and the larger printable PNG image will open up that you can save.

Saint Patrick’s Day Irish Proverbs Game

This is the second printable sheet for this game. This game card has a plain white background and clovers are made on the sides. This version will consume less ink hence it is more printer-friendly.

Free Printable Complete the Irish Proverb Game Answer Key

This is the answer key to this fun Saint Patrick’s Day game. All the correct words are written in the provided blanks. You need to save just one copy of this answer key so you can check the answers given by the players. You can also save the key in your cellphone.
