I am sharing a Free Printable Back-to-School Scattergories-inspired Game on this page. I have made two different printables for this game and both are in two different designs. This is a fun game and the whole family can play this game together. You can also play this game in your classrooms and this game will help start the new school year in a fun way.

How to Play

Print and distribute the Scattergories-inspired Back-to-School Game cards among the players. Ask the players to make one word or name one thing that is asked for each category by using the alphabet that is shared at the top of each game card. The person who comes up with the most unique and correct words or names wins. You can also assign a time limit for this game to make it more challenging and fun.

There are nine different categories and the players have to use the alphabet in the word ‘Read’ to make a word for each category. You should just click or tap on the thumbnail of your choice and save the larger image that will open up. You can print this game by using a color printer and regular paper.

Back-to-School Scattergories-inspired Game (Math)

This is the second printables for this scattergories game. The word that the players have to use to make their words is “Books”. You can print this game in the design that you like.
