The puzzles in this escape room are not extremely difficult, but reading skills are needed. Also, kids should be able to form words backward. However, younger kids can play this game with the help of older ones. There are 8 different puzzles, ciphers, and fun escape room clues, and then 1 final code. You need to just click on the picture of every clue card or puzzle, and save the larger printable sheet as it opens up.

How to Play
Print the Puzzle cards and hide them in the different areas of the room. Keep the final clue sheet and solution sheets with you. Hand them the chocolate wrapper with a golden ticket inside and tell the players that they need to look for all the clues and gather the answers to escape this room. This escape room follows a fun backstory that is given on each clue card.
To make it more difficult for the players, you can cut some of the clue sheets and hide the parts separately so they’ll look for the parts before solving the puzzles. It depends on their age group.

This is the clue number 5 and my favorite. If you have read the book, you must remember the square candy that looks round. This clue is inspired by that. Kids will need scissors and glue to assemble the box. You need to cut the box around the edges and tell the kids to fold it from the dashed lines. This way, a cipher decoder will be created that is needed for this puzzle and also another one.

This is clue card number 6, and I have not added many hints for it as it has names of some very popular food items.
Chocolate Factory Escape Room Puzzle 7
You need to do a little work to make this puzzle. Just cut each color around the edges and mix the pieces. The kids have to place them correctly so they can read the next clue.
Chocolate Factory Escape Room Free Printable Puzzle 8
Print both sheets for this clue. The kids have to cut the piece with the squirrel on it, around the edges, and place it on the same shape given on the sheet with the candies. The arrows will point to the candies that will be decoded to letters using the cipher box they created for puzzle number 5.
