How to Make a Baby Shower Diaper Cake
It is really easy to start assembling the diaper cake once you have gathered all the supplies. For this cake, I have used a cardboard cake base but you can also choose a cake stand, a big tray, or even a pizza base that is painted with gold spray.
1. Start Rolling Each Diaper and Secure it with a Rubber band
The first step is to roll all the diapers, make a sausage of all the diapers, and secure each diaper with an elastic rubber band. I generally roll the diaper from the top to the bottom as that gives a really clean look.
2. Start making the diaper cake by stacking the Diapers
Jumping to the next step is just this easy. Take the base, place the bottle that you have chosen in the center, and start stacking the diapers around it. I placed 29 diapers in this layer. I didn’t have a big rubberband so I secured them with a cotton string and simply tied it after placing the diapers in the place.
3. Keep stacking the diapers
Keep stacking the diapers till the 3 tier cake is made. I used 15 diapers in the second tier and 6 in the top tier.
